Go there for lunch and dinner. Even if busy during the week food is great. Try to avoid going there on the weekends. They have a different person working on the weekend from the week. Recommend to go during the week then the weekend. Food is always fresh and good flavor. I have never been disappointed with their food. Got to meet owner a few time and he is friendly always talkative.

First time here and never going back. Ordered Birria De Res to go. Get all the way home and no consome. Drive all the way back and give them the food back and ask for a refund as it is now cold. They inform me if I want consome I specifically have to ask for it and looked at me like I am crazy. Never had this happen before and I get Birria all the time. So back home with two cold very dry tacos I can't eat. Don't go here. They don't care.

I wanted a taco combo but they didnt have one so I ordered a carne asada combo. The meat was nerves and fat. So dissappointing. I never received my salsa. Rice and Beans were ok.

I really enjoyed the food the 3 times I've visited. It was very tasty. I will be back. I tried the carne asada, the enchiladas, and carnitas. All were delicious. The love that they still do the grilled jalapeños and onions, no one does this anymore. It's worth a try if you are in the area and craving mexican cuisine.

I slipped in front of a couple and child in its stroller. They kindly let me go, and I said "Thanks, but I got here first." I'm kidding. I've had pretty good luck with Oxnard restaurants, Pho, Mexican, tacos, it's almost like paradise. The wet burrito with green sauce chose me. Not sure how long it takes to make one of those, but Iwas starting to worry. She handed my order to me with a smile, but it was so hot and delicious looking I decided to have my meal right there on the table. It shoved aside the tapatio sauce and said "you won't be needing that." I told it you're junk food, you're carbs and calories and I'll get fat. It whispered back "it's worth it. You're worth it." Finished every bite. But seriously, great cooking and experience.
