It was a nice place, the decor inside was country, BBQ feeling. We ordered grilled chicken, beef, fries, baked beans, and chili.
The grilled chicken was a good portion and the BBQ sauce was mmmm delicious. The beef could have been slightly larger for the price but it was good too. The issue we had was the fries were overly fried where a lot of them were hard as a rock, the chili was super sour and acidic like they put too much lemon in it that we took a few bites and tossed it. The baked beans tasted fine but they had a mixture of beans like kidney beans and a few others which was odd. If it hadn't been for the over cooked fries, and chili I would give this place a 5 star.

I’ve been a lifelong BBQ fan, enjoying it all around the USA. Had a smoker for many years. Disappointed as food was not as advertised. We ordered a full slab of baby back ribs and coleslaw. For fans of sugary coleslaw it was very good, just a small portion for $7. The “slab” came cut up, wasn’t baby backs and wasn’t particularly meaty. We asked for sauce on and a side of sauce. Only got the side (have to charge 25 cents on top of a $34 ‘slab’? )Sauce was tasty. Ribs do have a nice smoky flavor and appearance but 10.5 bones with 2.5 light on the meat? They were a bit dry and chewy. Called back inquiring and got nothing but attitude (including suggesting Wood Ranch doesn’t cook their own ribs!). Was told we got “extra long-extra meaty” baby back ribs. Problem is, there’s no such thing as extra long baby backs! Was told about ‘how it is’ in Fort Worth. A friend who has eaten ribs through the D/FW area wasn’t too complimentary. I see they have their fans, maybe we caught them on an off night-but the attitude will keep me from taking another chance. Also they advertise “Voted Best BBQ in the Valley” but they don’t show up in the Top 60 on Yelp?

We had baby back ribs and beef ribs. My need ribs tasted good but not much meat. I took one home and ate it the next day, honestly there was 4 or 5 bites and that was it. I'm watching a guy eat beef ribs on YouTube and they are frickin thick. This was the first time I've ever ordered beef ribs, I'll have to try at another joint to see if that's the normal size around here.

As a fellow southerner(Oklahoma), I’d definitely recommend this spot. I usually avoid all barbecue in this city, but with the owner being from Texas, he actually knows what’s going on. It’s worth whatever drive is ahead of you to stop in. Best BBQ I’ve had in the entire state.

Rich, flavorful, and full of chicken taste. This gravy transformed my mashed potatoes into a full-fledged experience. I'd drink it with a straw if it were socially acceptable.
